About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Biomedical Assistant in Trials/Point of Care Testing. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the delivery of research and development services across the Trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the processing and documentation of samples associated with the Trust R&D programme.
- Assist with data entry, processing, and testing/analysis of blood and urine samples using automated equipment and manual processing.
- Work collaboratively with Biomedical Scientists to ensure the smooth operation of the laboratory.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and protocols.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance and quality control processes.

Person Specification
- Good GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science.
- Previous laboratory or NHS experience.
- Good communication and keyboard skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently.
