Biomedical Assistant in Trials/Point of Care Testing

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Biomedical Assistant in Trials/Point of Care Testing. The successful candidate will support the processing and documentation of samples associated with the Trust R&D programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Data entry, processing, and testing/analysis of blood and urine samples using automated equipment and manual processing.
- Support the processing and documentation of samples associated with the Trust R&D programme.
- Collaborate with Biomedical Scientists to ensure accurate and timely results.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and protocols.
Requirements
- Good GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science.
- Previous laboratory or NHS experience.
- Good communication and keyboard skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently.
