A Day in the Life of a Junior Chef Assistant

As a Junior Chef Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting senior chefs in preparing ingredients for various dishes
  • Working alongside the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organised workstation
  • Helping with kitchen inventory and monitoring stock levels
  • Assisting with basic cooking tasks, including making sauces and grilling
  • Participating in regular cleaning duties to ensure all equipment and surfaces are kept spotless

  • Previous kitchen experience is a plus, but a willingness to work hard and learn is essential
