Job Description

Five Education Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in a special school setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting individuals with special educational needs (SEN), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and other complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs, adapting lesson activities to meet their requirements.
  • Contribute to creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes student achievement and well-being.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective support strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with individuals with SEN, ASD, or complex needs is highly desirable.
  • Right to work in the UK (valid visa) and a recent child-based reference are essential.
  • DBS and police checks are required.
