About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist school for children with complex and severe learning needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our students.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or adults with special needs or mental health difficulties. You will be flexible, positive, calm, patient, and empathetic, with a strong ability to work as part of a skilled, enthusiastic, and hardworking team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the teacher in delivering lessons and activities to students with complex needs
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized education plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students, promoting their social, emotional, and behavioral development
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment
