About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiology Staff Nurse to join our team at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our radiology department, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our multidisciplinary team in delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing radiological procedures, including CT, ultrasound, and interventional radiology.
  • Assist radiologists with complex procedures, such as biopsies and vascular interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with the radiology team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
  • Participate in the training and development of junior staff members and students.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures within the radiology department.
Person Specification

We are looking for a motivated and experienced nurse with a strong background in radiology. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 1st Level Registration with the NMC in a relevant field.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest radiology practices.
  • Relevant experience in radiology, with a strong understanding of medical devices and specialist competencies.
