About the Role

As an SEN Teacher at Meadowcroft, you will play a vital role in delivering the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupils' achievement and ability to develop. Your creative approach to teaching will ensure that each pupil receives the support they need to thrive.

Main Responsibilities

  • Undertake the normal responsibilities of a class teacher, including teaching across both key stages.
  • Attend teacher meetings as required and undertake duties delegated by the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Contribute to the establishment, maintenance and development of a calm and safe learning environment.
  • Provide emotional support and promote the well-being of each individual pupil.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
