School Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Chartwells. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food to our clients and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our clients and customers
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and surrounding areas
- Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles
- Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image
- Comply with Food Handling and Hygiene standards and Health and Safety regulations
- Demonstrate an ability to manage pressure, prioritise tasks and communicate effectively at all levels
- Be an excellent team player with a committed and organised approach
- Have a desire to succeed in your role and possess the ability to work under pressure
- Be flexible to work shifts and demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability
