PCI Analyst – Manchester (Hybrid)

Locke & McCloud are seeking an experienced PCI Analyst to contribute to their client's Data Governance & Information Security team. As a PCI Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the effective management of PCI compliance and assessments across various brands, channels, and technologies. You will collaborate with the Senior PCI Analyst and the Policy, Risk & PCI Manager to maintain the scope of PCI-related assets and ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including technical, operational, internal, and external parties.
  • Review and gather documentation to demonstrate adherence to PCI DSS standards.
  • Present evidence and collaborate with Qualified Security Assessors (QSAs) with confidence.
  • Support the maintenance of the PCI DSS asset inventory, compliance tracking, and assessment schedules.
  • Contribute to the development of compliance performance indicators and assist in internal and external reporting efforts.
  • Prepare and deliver updates to the PCI Steering Group and other governance bodies.
  • Manage your workload effectively with a high level of self-motivation.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented work environment.
  • Be willing to travel between locations to engage with stakeholders and conduct compliance evaluations.
  • Provide regular, clear, and timely status updates to management.

Requirements:

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, ensuring SMEs and both internal and external parties are engaged and regularly informed.
  • Expertise in building relationships and influencing key stakeholders.
  • A strong passion for Information Security with a keen attention to detail.
  • In-depth understanding of PCI DSS, with specific experience in retail settings.
  • Knowledge of key approaches for safeguarding cardholder data.
  • Awareness of fundamental InfoSec controls in a business context.
  • Knowledge of project management methods and planning strategies.
  • Ability to think systematically and logically, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certifications such as PCIP, ISA, CompTIA Sec+, or CISSP are a plus, but not required.
