Key Responsibilities- Lead the external financial reporting process, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance with IFRS.
- Collaborate with the GR&A team to produce the monthly consolidation and quarterly external financial reporting.
- Liaise with JLR's parent company corporate reporting team and external auditors on all matters related to financial reporting.
- Utilize financial reporting tools, including SAP and Oracle EPM, to generate efficiencies in reporting processes and reviews.
- Be the primary point of contact for external auditors and parent company financial reporting team, managing deliverables and responding robustly to queries and challenges.
- Be a qualified accountant with experience in a financial reporting role within a large multi-national business.
- Be an expert in IFRS and experienced in producing and reviewing complex financial statements under IFRS.
- Be articulate with great influencing and communication skills to build effective relationships with various stakeholders.
- Possess a willingness to challenge existing processes and proactively identify improvements.
