Finance Analyst Job Opportunity

CMA Recruitment Group is pleased to assist their Reading-based client in finding a skilled Finance Analyst to support the Head of Finance with new business strategies and proposals. This contract role offers a chance to utilize strong analytical skills to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively manage financial/commercial components of new opportunities.
  • Analyse risks and opportunities using commercial models, suggesting mitigation strategies and providing modelling support.
  • Support the Senior Finance Team in developing a culture of high-quality commercial financial management.
  • Implement commercial new business process improvements, including template development and maintenance.
  • Provide support to Commercial Finance Analysts as needed.
Requirements:
  • Qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent Excel skills, with good knowledge of macros and advanced techniques.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively, meeting strict deadlines.
  • A methodical and accurate approach to work, with strong attention to detail.
  • A strong team player who is proactive in identifying areas for improvement.
