We are seeking an experienced retail manager to lead our Domiciliary Joint Venture Partner business, providing exceptional patient eyecare services in a home visit setting.

\

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of support staff, working closely with our divisional manager to ensure operational excellence, and driving business growth through effective strategy implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strong relationships with our customers, optometrists, and administrative teams\
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and brand standards\
  • Work collaboratively with our divisional manager to achieve business objectives and growth targets\
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional patient care and service in a home visit setting\
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity within the business\
  • Monitor and analyze business performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary\
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring efficient use of assets and personnel\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to drive business success\
  • Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment\
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing\

  • We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary range of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus additional benefits such as 50% Customer Service shares, car allowance or company car, private health and dental care, pension contribution, and ongoing development opportunities. \

As a Domiciliary Joint Venture Partner, you will be responsible for running your own optical practice, working closely with our divisional manager to achieve business objectives and growth targets. You will be supported by a dedicated team of administrative staff, schedulers, optical assistants, and optometrists who will assist you in delivering exceptional patient care and service.

Your main focus will be on driving business growth, developing and implementing effective strategies to increase sales and customer engagement, and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, optometrists, and administrative teams. You will also be responsible for recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing team to deliver exceptional patient care and service.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of leading and managing teams, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You should be a skilled communicator, able to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders. A strong understanding of the optical industry, coupled with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, is essential.
