Document Management Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Management Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Document Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of patient records, as well as maintaining compliance with CQC regulations.
Main Responsibilities:- Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring that all information is complete and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Recalls and Health Checks: Participate in recalls for patient health checks, ensuring that all necessary actions are taken in a timely manner.
- Training and Development: Maintain skills and undertake training and development as required to maintain personal competency.
- CQC Compliance: Help practices using our service to ensure CQC compliance is in place regarding document processing.
- Document Processing: Process daily incoming documents for each practice in a timely manner.
- Document Allocation: Allocate documents which cannot be filed to the relevant action groups for the practice.
- Team Support: Support junior members of the Document Management Team and be involved in the teaching and upskilling of new members.
- Reporting and Communication: Report and check in with the Clinical Lead for this project on a daily basis and flag any areas of concern or improvement to the service.

Requirements:- Qualifications: A good standard of General Education including English and Maths at GCSE C or above.
- Experience: Good understanding of Information Technology, use of Emis, use of Docman, English Language, both spoken and written, maintaining accurate records and databases, good communication skills, in person, on the phone and in writing.
- Disclosure and Barring Service Check: This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
