We are seeking an Instrument Operations Manager to join our team at our laboratory in Bartley, near Southampton. As an Instrument Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our instruments, including calibrations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Your key responsibilities will include processing and verifying analytical results, assisting with sample preparation, and conducting regular quality control reviews. You will also be responsible for reporting any anomalies or QC issues to the quality manager and suggesting procedural improvements when errors or recurring problems arise.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in analytical laboratory techniques, particularly in GC-MS QQQ and GC-MS instrumentation. Familiarity with Agilent software and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are highly desirable.
The salary for this position is £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, based on experience, and includes a range of benefits, including a contributory pension scheme and ongoing training and career development opportunities.
As an Instrument Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of different instruments and technologies, and contribute to the growth and development of our laboratory.
