About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. As a key member of our store leadership team, you'll play a vital role in driving store performance, leading a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in achieving store targets and objectives
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure excellent customer service and store standards
  • Manage store operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement business plans, strategies, and initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of achieving sales growth and improving store performance
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising
