Financial Operations Coordinator

The IPS Group is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to join their team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and be responsible for overseeing and executing financial operations and administrative tasks.
This role is crucial for maintaining accurate records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and other financial activities within the company.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Maintain complete, accurate and timely Purchase Ledger records, including coding invoices, updating the ledger for month-end, and ensuring correct authorization across the company.
- Carry out monthly supplier statement reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
- Prepare regular supplier payment runs in accordance with the company's cash management process, as agreed with the Group Financial Controller.
- Maintain Sales Ledger records, including reconciliation of daily takings and investigation of any discrepancies.
- Maintain and develop detailed cost analysis on specific cost lines in accordance with agreed cost line ownership.
- Prepare payroll payments for EU locations.
- Reconcile UK bank accounts, store petty cash analysis and postings, and cash analysis of stock-related invoices.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as specified by the business.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office 365, particularly advanced Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of Sage Line 50 would be an advantage.
- Must be a confident communicator.
