Job Title: Technical Placement Broker

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Placement Broker to join our team at Stride Resource Management Ltd. As a Technical Placement Broker, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with insurer partners, identifying opportunities to maximise income, enhance customer proposition and deliver new products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Placement of large and complex commercial risks across the extensive insurer panel, ensuring the best terms for customers.
  • Work with colleagues to devise specific placement strategies for new and existing business - identifying appropriate markets and designing suitable insurance programmes.
  • Day to day support for trading teams, acting as a referral point, recommending markets for individual cases and enhancing colleagues broking capabilities.
  • Enforcement of placement strategy across insurer partners.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the insurance market.
  • Strong commercial lines insurance knowledge gained in a broking or insurance company environment.
  • Proven experience of commercial lines insurance broking or underwriting.
  • In-depth understanding of commercial insurance products and principles.
  • Experience in placement of complex risks.
