We are seeking a skilled Technical Placement Broker to join our team at STRIDE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT LTD. As a key member of our brokerage team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with insurer partners, identifying opportunities to maximise income, enhance customer proposition and deliver new products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Placement of large and complex commercial risks across the extensive insurer panel, ensuring the best terms for customers.
  • Work with colleagues to devise specific placement strategies for new and existing business - identifying appropriate markets and designing suitable insurance programmes.
  • Day to day support for trading teams, acting as a referral point, recommending markets for individual cases and enhancing colleagues broking capabilities.
  • Enforcement of placement strategy across insurer partners.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the insurance market.
  • Strong commercial lines insurance knowledge gained in a broking or insurance company environment.
  • Proven experience of commercial lines insurance broking or underwriting.
  • In-depth understanding of commercial insurance products and principles.
  • Experience in placement of complex risks.
