Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Receptionist to join our busy GP practice team at Parkway Medical Group. As a key member of the reception team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, administrative support, and contributing to the overall success of the practice.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in dealing with the general public, working in a team environment, and possessing excellent communication skills. A pleasant manner, approachable attitude, and ability to abide by confidentiality issues are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing a welcoming and professional service to patients, staff, and visitors
  • Dealing with patient requests, booking appointments, and handling prescriptions
  • Maintaining accurate records, filing, and scanning information into patient files
  • Liaising with clinicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participating in training programs and adhering to infection control procedures
