Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at the London Chigwell Prince Regent Hotel, Signature Collection By Best Western. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our hotel rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and inviting for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Clean and Maintain Guest Rooms**: Ensure that all guest rooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities.
  • **Maintain Public Areas**: Clean and maintain all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and common rooms, to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
  • **Operate Cleaning Equipment**: Operate and maintain all cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions, to ensure efficient and effective cleaning.
  • **Report Damages or Breakages**: Report any damages or breakages to management promptly to ensure repairs are carried out in a timely manner.
  • **Maintain Storage Areas**: Keep storage areas clean and organized, and ensure that all equipment and supplies are stored properly.
Requirements
  • **Previous Experience**: Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of cleaning standards and procedures.
  • **Attention to Detail**: Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on ensuring that all areas are cleaned to a high standard.
  • **Physical Ability**: Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
