Teaching Assistant Job Description

Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant. The role is a long-term position, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children and committed to providing the best possible support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children with specific learning difficulties and develop positive relationships with them and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with planning and delivering lessons, and provide feedback to teachers on student progress.
  • Help to maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.

Requirements:
  • A passion for working with children and a commitment to providing the best possible support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide feedback to teachers on student progress.
  • Recent experience working with children in a school setting would be an advantage.
