Job Description

Safran Landing Systems is a leading manufacturer of aircraft landing gear systems, and we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our production assets, including equipment used in surface finish, heat treatment, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), paint & OE Assembly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance on production assets
  • Interpret engineering drawings to fault find and identify spare parts required
  • Document and prioritize work through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Operate within all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) standards and policies

Requirements

  • Must be able to read mechanical drawings, including assembly and schematics
  • Ability to work as part of a team and work independently
  • Ability to demonstrate fault finding skills and abilities
  • Fabrication and fitting skills (core bench-fitting skills necessary)
  • Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • Be able to work safely and adhere to HS&E standards and policies
