About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Adult Safeguarding services, providing expert advice and guidance to elected members, corporate management teams, and multi-agency partners. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of relevant legislation and statutory guidance, as well as excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to de-escalate difficult situations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a Social or Health Care qualification and current registration, along with a management qualification or significant experience at a suitable level. You will also need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Expertise in Safeguarding Adults and mental health
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and statutory guidance
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to de-escalate difficult situations
  • Ability to provide expert advice and guidance to elected members, corporate management teams, and multi-agency partners
