About Opogo

We are a leading educational staffing and support agency dedicated to connecting talented education professionals with schools and educational institutions. Our mission is to provide high-quality support to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The Role:

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Graduates SEND Teaching Assistants to support the learning and development of students with SEND in our partner schools. Successful candidates will work closely with teachers and other professionals to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and support students during school activities, outings, and events.

  1. Develop and implement tailored educational activities for students with SEND, in collaboration with teachers and special educators.
  2. Support students with SEND in achieving their educational goals, under the guidance of teachers and special educators.
  3. Participate in school activities, outings, and events, providing support to students with SEND as needed.

Requirements:

A degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.Knowledge and understanding of SEND and inclusive education practices.Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to support students with SEND.
