Job Summary

Lester Aldridge, a leading law firm, is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at our head office in Bournemouth. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future direction of our facilities management service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high-quality facilities management service, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Lead and develop a team of facilities management professionals, providing coaching and guidance to ensure their success.
  • Procure and manage contracts with suppliers and contractors, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Project manage facilities management projects, from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and implement facilities standards, policies, and processes, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of five years' recent experience in facilities management, with a strong understanding of workplace, facilities, and health and safety management.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and developing a facilities team, with a proven track record of managing change.
  • A relevant qualification in a facilities discipline or equivalent, and relevant qualifications or experience.
  • Membership of a recognized facilities organization is desirable.
