About the Role:

The SEN Teaching Assistant will be responsible for supporting students with reading, writing, and numeracy skills, as well as providing a positive learning atmosphere and managing challenging behavior. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with SEN students, a good knowledge of SEN, and a passion for developing their skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting students with reading, writing, and numeracy skills
  • Providing a positive learning atmosphere
  • Managing challenging behavior
  • Collaborating with the teacher to create and deliver activities
  • Recording students' progress and feeding back to the teacher
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with SEN students
  • Good knowledge of SEN
  • Able to manage challenging behavior
  • Able to commit to working fixed days
  • Clear and valid DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
  • Relevant training to support students with learning difficulties
