Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at TimePlan Education. The successful candidate will provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEN, ensuring they have equal access to the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support to students with SEN, adapting teaching materials to meet their diverse needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional development.
• Assist in the assessment and tracking of student progress, communicating effectively with teachers, parents, and other relevant professionals.
• Implement behavior management strategies to create a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Education, Teaching Assistance, or a related field.
• Experience working with students with SEN, preferably within a school setting.
• Understanding of various special educational needs and the ability to tailor support accordingly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable, with a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of students with SEN.
