About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sports Coach Assistant to join our team at Vision for Education - Manchester. As a Sports Coach Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of sports and physical education programs to students with Social, Emotional or Mental Health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver sports and physical education programs to students aged 11-16 years
- Support the development of life-long positive attitudes to sport, physical activity, and healthy living
- Engage with pupils and provide individualized support to meet their needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement sports and physical education programs
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
Requirements:
- Relevant experience delivering sports to young people
- Positive mindset to inspire children through sport
- Resilient, empathetic, patient, and able to work with vulnerable adults
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
