**Role Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced and passionate School SEN / SEMH Teacher to join our team. As a vital member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering engaging Maths or English lessons to small classes of students aged 7-16 with SEMH needs. Your primary goal will be to provide individualized support, addressing the unique challenges faced by each student and helping them reach their full potential.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and deliver creative, interactive, and therapeutic lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students;
- Maintain a high level of student engagement, promoting academic progress and emotional stability;
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with SEMH needs;
- Develop and maintain accurate records of student progress, monitoring their development and identifying areas for improvement;
- Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
**Requirements:**
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)/ Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) or equivalent;
- Relevant experience working with vulnerable children, including those with SEMH needs and challenging behaviors;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues;
- A genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students with SEMH needs.
**Benefits:**
- An estimated salary range of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience;
