Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Media Relations Account Director to join our team at The Opportunity Hub UK. As a key member of our PR agency, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of B2B clients across various sectors, including:

  • Media and Entertainment
  • Marketing and Advertising
  • Data and Analytics
  • E-commerce and Retail
  • Technology and Software
  • Creative and Design

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic PR campaigns to achieve client objectives
  • Secure high-quality media coverage across various platforms, including trade press and national publications
  • Proactively identify newsjacking and other PR opportunities to maximize client exposure
  • Provide ongoing account management and support, ensuring client satisfaction and retention

Requirements:

  • Minimum 9 months of experience as an PR Account Manager in a PR agency
  • Proven track record of success in B2B PR
  • Media relations skills with established contacts across the trade press and ideally, national media
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • A strong understanding of the B2B marketing landscape
  • A passion for the PR industry and a willingness to learn
