Job Title: Media Relations Account Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Media Relations Account Director to join our team at MMGY Global. As a key member of our public relations team, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, developing and implementing PR strategies, and maintaining excellent media contacts across the travel and lifestyle sectors.

About the Role:

  1. Develop and execute PR plans for clients, including press release writing, pitching story ideas to journalists, and attending events.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with tour operators, tourist boards, and airline PRs to assist with press trip creation.
  3. Assist the Account Director and senior management in creating PR plans for clients, generating creative ideas, and developing target media lists.
  4. Manage staff, maintain excellent media contacts, and have a strong eye for detail.
