New Product Developer - Cosmetics

We are a dynamic and respected cosmetic and skincare company, seeking a skilled New Product Developer to join our fast-growing team. As a key member of our NPD department, you will play a crucial role in driving our business forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • React to emerging trends and convert market opportunities into commercial success.
  • Manage the NPD process from initial trend concepts to order, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop personalized private label solutions for clients, from concept to packaging and final range look and feel.
  • Create range plans, including briefs for design teams and customers.
  • Work closely with in-house chemists to develop skincare and colour cosmetic formulations in the UK and China.
  • Collaborate with the regulatory team to understand challenges and technical issues surrounding formulation developments.
  • Prepare product costings for Account Managers to quote.
  • Manage development critical paths, coordinating across teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
