Salary

We offer a competitive salary of £31,500 - £42,700 per annum, plus a shift premium of 15% of the base rate, potentially earning up to £49,000 annually.

Job Description

As an HGV Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our large HGV lorries. Your duties will include:

  • Maintaining all vehicles to a safe and roadworthy standard in compliance with VOSA and Partnerships requirements.
  • Ensuring relevant sections of inspections, services, and defect sheets are completed daily.
  • Staying up-to-date with best practices and current commercial vehicle repair techniques to deliver high-quality repairs at a cost-effective manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A City and Guilds 1, 2, 3 Vehicle Technician qualification or equivalent.
  • A full UK Driving Licence.
  • A proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs.
  • Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness.
