About the Opportunity:
State Street is seeking an experienced Investment Officer to join our EMEA Portfolio Services Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of portfolio control, information delivery, and operational control framework. You will work closely with our client-facing teams to resolve escalations and provide support on day-to-day running of the team.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct reviews of accounts to identify issues related to portfolio health.
  • Support the Portfolio Manager in resolving operational issues, commanding control over inquiries, escalations, and activities that directly support the Front Office.
  • Serve as the primary contact for Client Middle Office Teams on complex queries/issues/breaks that require end-to-end portfolio services support.
  • Complete month-end close functions (validate and sign-off on balances, review for non-base balances) for designated accounts.
  • Discover data or account trends for discussion during group meetings.
  • Interface with all IMS teams (Accounting, Corporate Actions, Trading, Performance).
  • Prepare oversight reports for audits when necessary.
  • Manage governance duties for offshore locations when applicable.
  • Ensure the resolution of data point issues.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive Investment Management expertise.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and accounting software.

Remuneration: We offer an estimated annual salary of £70,000 - £90,000, contingent upon your qualifications and performance.
