Job Title: Environmental Trials and Analysis Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Engineer to join our agile and diverse team at MBDA UK. As an Environmental Trials and Analysis Engineer, you will play a key role in undertaking complex analysis and supporting laboratory and field trials across our entire portfolio of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply technical expertise to provide advice to projects, delivering technical aspects of data evaluation activities as part of the MBDA EE&F UK Environmental Trials and Analysis Team.
  • Act as a technical interface with customers, ensuring delivery of data evaluation tasks or technical work packages, including data gathering trials and assessments, platform integration activities, and structural modal assessment.
  • Carry out technical evaluations and investigations, preparing reports with suggested recommendations to support the resolution of problems attributed to shock and vibration, and the improvement of engineering capability.
  • Develop test specifications and carry out activities related to vibration, shock, and signal evaluation in line with technical and quality standards.
  • Plan, deliver, and monitor assigned work packages, making engineering decisions within own sphere of responsibility and delegated authority to ensure requirements are delivered to plan.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical background in environmental, mechanical, or similar discipline.
  • Highly motivated and adaptable in unfamiliar environments, with a results-focused orientation.
  • Instrumentation, signal processing, and complex analysis experience preferable.
  • Experience of complex vibration, shock, and thermal analysis preferable.
