Job Title: Environmental Trials and Analysis Engineer

MBDA is seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Environmental Trials and Analysis Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Environmental Engineering department, you will be responsible for delivering technical aspects of data evaluation activities, including data gathering trials and assessments, platform integration activities, and structural modal assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply specialist technical knowledge and provide advice to projects, ensuring delivery of technical aspects of data evaluation activities.
  • Act as a technical interface with customers in the delivery of data evaluation tasks or technical work packages.
  • Carry out a full range of technical evaluations and investigations, including evaluation of technical options, and prepare reports with suggested recommendations.
  • Develop test specifications and carry out activities related to vibration, shock, and signal evaluation in line with all technical and quality standards.
  • Plan, deliver, and monitor assigned work packages, making engineering decisions within own sphere of responsibility and delegated authority.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical background in environmental, mechanical, or similar discipline.
  • Highly motivated and adaptable in unfamiliar environments, with a results-focused orientation.
  • Instrumentation, signal processing, and complex analysis experience preferable.
  • Experience of complex vibration, shock, and thermal analysis preferable.
