Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our Radiology Nursing team at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. The successful candidate will support both inpatient and outpatient care in our main Radiology department as well as in the new state-of-the-art Community Diagnostic Centre.

The role will provide a variety of exciting opportunities to gain experience and competencies to work across a range of imaging modalities, with the support of our Clinical Nurse Educator. You will be expected to work across a 7-day a week service, with shift times between the hours of 07:30-20:00.

Main Duties of the Job

You will need to be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and strive for opportunities for improvement. You will positively impact on the experience of patients and carers by providing a high standard of clinical care. We are looking for an organised individual with excellent communication skills and a positive approach to change.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered Nurse on the appropriate part of the NMC Register

Desirable

  • Post registration qualification relevant to the clinical area
  • Working towards a health-related degree
  • Mentorship preparation programme (or required to complete once in post) if applicable to clinical area

Experience

  • Recent experience of nursing in an acute hospital environment
  • Knowledge/experience of relevant speciality
