About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our Radiology Nursing team at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. As a Radiology Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the care of patients undergoing various imaging procedures, including Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, and Plain Film x-ray.

The successful candidate will have recent experience of nursing in an acute hospital environment and knowledge/experience of relevant speciality. You will be an effective role model, demonstrating our PRIDE values of People-focused, Respect, Integrity, Dedication, and Excellence.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of imaging modalities, with the support of our Clinical Nurse Educator. You will be expected to work across a 7-day a week service, with shift times between the hours of 07:30-20:00.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective care. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of our Radiology Nursing team, sharing your knowledge and expertise to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered Nurse on the appropriate part of the NMC Register

Desirable

  • Post-registration qualification relevant to the clinical area
  • Working towards a health-related degree
  • Mentorship preparation programme (or required to complete once in post) if applicable to clinical area
