We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teaching Professional to join our team as a Supply Teacher for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Ipswich and surrounding areas.
About the JobThis role offers the opportunity to work with children aged 4-18 who have various special needs, including PMLD, MLD, SLD, SEMH, and HI. As a Supply Teacher, you will support students with conditions such as ASD, ADHD, SLCN, Cerebral Palsy, Down's Syndrome, and more.
Key Responsibilities- SUPPORT CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS: Provide individualized support to students with complex needs, adapting to their unique requirements.
- CREATE LEARNING PLANS: Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop tailored learning plans that meet the needs of each student.
- BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS: Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive learning environment.
- TEACHING QUALIFICATION: QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- DBS CLEARANCE: Enhanced Child Workforce DBS clearance
- AVAILABILITY: Flexible schedule, Monday-Friday
- EXPERIENCE: Previous experience working with children with SEN
- SKILLS: Excellent communication, patience, and empathy
