Vehicle Conversion Specialist

We are recruiting a skilled Vehicle Conversion Specialist to join our team at Andy File Associates in Doncaster. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality vehicle conversions and repairs on customers' sites and within our workshops.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on fabricated bodies, including ramps and tail lifts. This role involves traveling throughout the UK to complete mobile or off-site works, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services.

  • Conversion/Coach Building experience is essential, including fabrication of chassis bodies.
  • Fault finding and repair of all builds within the business, including ramps and tail lifts.
  • Vehicle electrical knowledge is crucial for this position.
  • Briefing basic diesel heater knowledge is necessary.
  • Reporting issues found on vehicles.
  • QA check of vehicles.
  • Fault finding and rectification.
  • Completing mobile or off-site works efficiently.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Dealing with clients and customers in a professional manner.
  • Operating Company IT systems for recording work.
  • Lone working.
  • Maintaining a full UK driving license.
Job Description

Salary

Estimated salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
