Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Administrator to join our client's SJP Practice in Dorking. The successful candidate will provide high-level technical and administrative support to Financial Advisers, including business processing, financial administration, and client liaison.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Financial Advisers with all areas of administration, including responding to client enquiries, liaising with third parties, and providing support at client meetings.
  • Issue letters of authority to providers and chase financial institutions for requested information.
  • Provide telephone liaison with Administration Centres and Paraplanners.
  • Draft and proof-read documents, including client correspondence, presentations, and illustrations.
  • Update client records and databases with financial and personal data.
  • Maintain and accurately update the CRM system.
  • Decipher policy information and input it into the company CRM.
  • Onboard new clients to the company CRM.
  • Prepare client files for review meetings.
  • Provide regular status updates to clients regarding the status of transfers and withdrawals.
  • Complete illustrations and applications for new business.
  • Process New Business and chase through to completion.
  • Process application forms.
  • Complete an audit at the end of each case to ensure all documents are in place.
  • Manage compliance requirements, ensuring new business and client files are fully compliant.
  • Maintain accurate computer records.
  • Manage company compliance records.
  • Manage the new SJP meeting review process.
  • Manage the business pipeline.
  • Develop skills in writing basic Suitability Letters.
  • Assist with marketing administration.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a Financial Planning role.
  • A can-do attitude and flexibility.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent written English skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to use own initiative.
  • Ability to work additional hours when required.
