Round Peg Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for all aspects of financial control, accounting, and financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Process and reconcile invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals.
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
- Support the payroll process by ensuring accurate and timely payment of staff wages.
- Liaise with external accountants and auditors during audits.
- Monitor and manage expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related business field.
- Previous experience in a finance assistant or similar role.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A relevant finance or accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
- Competitive salary of up to £30,000 per annum plus benefits.
