About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Agent to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks Team on our Severn Trent Water Framework.

This is a permanent, full-time position with flexible and part-time hours available if desired.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise site activities and workforce on capital projects within the water industry, focusing on the upgrade and resilience of wastewater treatment sites.
  • Ensure the site achieves required project delivery objectives while maintaining H&S, quality, environmental impact, and cost control.
  • Lead a team of subcontractors to deliver work safely without environmental incidents and to the specified quality.
  • Implement Project Plans, RAMS, ITP's, and approval of supply chain RAMS, as well as other Safe Systems of Work, in line with Company procedures.
  • Input and awareness of construction programme and work alongside the project planner and Project Manager.
  • Deliver site inductions, issue permits/forms, and conduct daily briefings (including toolbox talks) and record keeping.
  • Undertake weekly site audits and document and issue RFI's in collaboration with the project manager.
  • Chair site meetings and report weekly to the project manager on site progress.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in the construction industry.
  • Substantial knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management, and cost control.
  • Good knowledge of producing, reviewing, and implementing Safe Systems of Work for task-specific activities.
  • CSCS Card.

Applicants should have working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management, and cost control.
