Financial Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance professional to join our team as a Financial Operations Coordinator. This role will play a crucial part in our finance function, supporting our growth and change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchase ledger invoices, expenses, and credit notes.
  • Prepare and post weekly and monthly supplier payment runs in GBP and other currencies.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and bank accounts, resolving any discrepancies.
  • Proactively chase customer payments and manage overdue accounts.
  • Handle sales invoices for trade customers and allocate sales receipts.
  • Assist with accruals, prepayments, and month-end processing leading to management accounts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years in an accounts environment.
  • Experience with Sage, Quickbooks, or Xero is essential; familiarity with Shopify is a bonus.
  • Ideally AAT qualified or working towards it, with a solid grasp of finance processes.
  • Strong verbal and written skills, with a proactive and organized approach to work.
  • Honest, collaborative, and energetic, ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
