Job Title: Site Agent

Location: Ludlow WwTW, Shropshire

About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to join our team on the Severn Trent Water Framework at Ludlow, Shropshire. As a Site Agent, you will be responsible for the supervision of key tasks and workforce on capital projects within the water industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of subcontractors to deliver work safely without environmental incidents and to the specified quality.
  • Ensure the implementation of plans, RAMS, ITP's, and approval of supply chain RAMS, plus other Safe Systems of Works, when specified.
  • Input and awareness of the construction programme and work alongside the Planning team and the Project Manager.
  • Deliver inductions, issue permits/forms, daily briefings (including toolbox talks), and record keeping (e.g., diaries and quality records).
  • Undertake weekly audits and document and issue RFI's in collaboration with the Project Manager.

Requirements:

  • Experience within the water industry or another process-oriented industry with a civils background and knowledge of MEICA.
  • Working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management, and costings including forecasting, actual cost, and value reporting.
  • Good knowledge of specifications and testing regimes relevant to general civil engineering, experience of NEC forms of contract.
  • Experience of managing subcontractors where the value is greater than £1m.
  • CSCS card & UK driving licence.
