Supporting Our Clinical Team

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Care Assistant to join our team at Newport Pagnell Medical Centre. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build on your experience, skills, and competence, working effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Assist the clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care.
  2. Carry out high-quality practice within designated clinical areas, including venepuncture, phlebotomy checks, new patient health checks, and preparing and maintaining environments and equipment.
  3. Provide valuable health promotion and education for service users, their families, and carers.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of the Care Certificate.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, or equivalent.
  • Experience of working within a GP practice, with strong clinical skills and excellent patient-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
