Medical Administrator for Mental Health Services

The Norfolk & Waveney Specialist Services Care Group is looking to recruit a Medical Administrator to support the Under 18's Eating Disorder Service on a 12-month fixed term contract. This would suit someone who is outgoing and confident, with the organisational skills to manage their own workload to support the needs of the service.
Key Responsibilities- Consultant support - including dictations, diary management and liaising with patients and their families plus external stakeholders.
- Clinical Admin Support - processing referrals, maintaining patient records, generating letters, taking and distributing minutes, monitoring and completion of tasks in the team inbox.
- Reception cover duties.
You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team of skilled professionals aided by a small group of dedicated administrators, in a positive and sociable working environment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative skills, strong communication skills and experience of working within a healthcare setting.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel and Outlook will be essential. Knowledge of the Trust system Lorenzo would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.
