We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Choice Support. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing specialist support and care to individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals with everyday tasks to promote independence, including cooking, cleaning, and shopping.
- Assist with health appointments and provide support with personal care.
- Participate in community activities, such as social events, arts and crafts, and outings.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals.
Requirements:
- Good communication skills, with the ability to support individuals who are hard of hearing.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
- On-the-job training provided, although some experience would be desirable.
