Job Title: District Nurse or Trainee District Nurse

This is a permanent band 6 post as per Agenda for Change. The post holder will be required to work across the CSD and can be asked to cover other caseloads within the area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as a qualified specialist practitioner within the district nursing service in Clackmannan & Stirling Clinical Services Directorate.
  • Have a District Nursing qualification (degree or diploma) or be working towards a District nursing qualification and have relevant experience within community nursing.
  • Be able to demonstrate an ability to work with different professional groups and have good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
  • Be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.

Requirements:

  • Have some experience in leading/ managing a team and caseload management.
  • Be able to demonstrate an interest in quality improvement work and change management.
  • Have a good awareness of national policies and a willingness to take an active lead in the implementation of these policies locally.
