Job Summary:

This is a permanent band 6 post as per Agenda for Change, requiring a qualified specialist practitioner within the district nursing service in Clackmannan & Stirling Clinical Services Directorate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work across the CSD and cover other caseloads within the area.
  • Weekend working and variable shift pattern required on a flexible rotational basis.
  • Lead and manage a team, with experience in caseload management.
  • Communicate effectively with different professional groups and demonstrate an ability to work with them.
  • Implement national policies locally and take an active lead in quality improvement work and change management.

Requirements:

  • District Nursing qualification (degree or diploma) or working towards a District nursing qualification.
  • Relevant experience within community nursing.
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery.
  • Member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
